On 13th April 2010 the British Royal Mail launch a new collection of stamps focusing on British wildlife and we're very pleased to say that one of the five animals featured is a Scottish wildcat! To commemorate the occasion Buckingham Covers have created a wildcat themed first day cover emblazoned with our logo, some great awareness raising info on the wildcat and one of Peter Cairns' fine images of Freddie! Buckingham covers are highly collectable so make a great gift for philatelists or as an unusual piece of wildcat memorabilia for just £11.95. For a short time only a limited edition of 500 of the covers will be available signed by the wonderful Mr Cairns who gave up some considerable amount of time and wrist ache to earn us a very generous donation from BC, these are available for £22.95 from the link above as well.
